Event sponsored by Federation of Family History Societies
The Liverpool & South West Lancashire Family History Society (L&SWLFHS) has been established in Liverpool since May 1976, when it was called the Liverpool Family History Society and it’s first meeting was attended by 30 people.
Since then the Society has grown to include the wider area covering the West Derby Hundred and now has groups in Liverpool, Widnes, Warrington, Southport, Leigh and Skelmersdale, with a membership of nearly 2,000.
We welcome like minded researchers to join us in discovering our ancestors and enjoying our Meetings, Journals and Help Desks. We are available on Facebook, Twitter and our Forum where there is a friendly, helpful crowd who do their best to resolve queries.
