During the closure of Liverpool Record Office the following services have been set up so users can access the following.
The microfilm records are available to view at the temporary City Library which is situated in the:
Horseshoe Gallery
2nd Floor
World Museum
William Brown Street
Liverpool.
Opening times 10am till 5pm Monday to Sunday.
Also in this department is the IT section so visitors can access Ancestry Library online.
Booking procedures are as follows.
There is no pre booking of machines and they are available for 1 hour. If you require extra time and the department is not busy you can remain on the machine but visitors must go and book another hour session.
The Help Desk is available on Tuesdays 1.30pm till 4pm

WE ARE MOVING
Starting from the September the Warrington Group will be meeting at the Halliwell Jones Rugby Stadium, opposite Tesco Supermarket on Winwick Road, access is through the main entrance.
The meetings will start half an hour earlier at 7.00 p.m., because the rooms have to be vacated by 9.00 p.m.. The room will be open from 6.30 p.m.. and is on the first floor in the Education, Training and Development Room, just past the Dining Room. There is a lift available if required.
We have been requested to park at the west end opposite the car park entrance next to the hedge, so as not to interfere with Tesco's shoppers
