Conference 2012

This years conference will be hosted by The Warrington Group, and will be held at:-

Warrington Collegiate.

Getting There

Warrington Collegiate is situated on the A49 and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

Car

There is ample parking for cars around the campus. The site is easy to access with a dedicated entrance from Winwick Road (A49) as can be ssen from the map.

Public Transport

By Rail: Members travelling by train should disembark at Central Station in Warrington. Warrington Collegiate is around a 20 minute walk along the A49 (you will pass the Warrington Wolves RLFC stadium and the Tesco supermarket on your left).

By Bus: Warrington Collegiate is easily accessible by bus from the town centre and nearby Cheshire districts. Members can travel on bus numbers* 19, 20, 21 from the Warrington Bus Station to Winwick Road Campus. Members travelling from Newton can catch the number 420 and if you are travelling from Leigh you can use the number 19 bus to reach our Winwick Road Campus.

*Please note bus numbers are subject to change.

Cycling

Warrington Borough Council are introducing cycle lanes around Warrington. There is one on Winwick Road and another is planned for Long Lane. On campus there are 50 cycle fixing points and 3 specified areas for motor cycles. Changing and showering facilities are available in the Roger Hunt Building.
