Hi all :D Help please! I bought cd of bmd's for St Albans Church Warrington only to find that while the baptism registers are there for the years 1843 through to 1851, the actual baptism details are not!.. They start at 1856..very frustrating! Ah well never mind, onwards and upwards as they say. Any...

Try Nazareth House in Crosby. My mother and her sister were placed there in 1931 on the recommendation of their parish priest. Apparently it was common practice for catholic family's to place their children in there during times of crisis ect... its worth a try.

Hi Erika Thanks for your help. Parents names were Robert Cochrane, dad of Mary Cochrane, However I doubt that his name will come up at the address's as he lived in Everton ( I think my aunt Mary used the address of my other aunt -Maggie Egan). Grooms name on cert was William Edward Allen, his father...
