happy new yr to all that I know, I use Familysearch as all my roots come from Ireland can anyone put me right on the GRO index that comes up with familysearch is it the same Index that the GRO Ireland use to order birth certificates???????? maybe D/S might help me out

Sure did Mary, the researcher supplied both the 1901/1911 Census Ireland, also some lady from Dublin that I know sujested that Drohan derives from De Drohen from the French family of Hougermont, always thought are name was Gaelic. anyway the lady is checking with her Uncle as somewhere in his record...
