Re: The Cabbage Inn, Netherton

Hi On Facebook there is a site called Memories of Netherton you might find 1 on there, I know there are a few of the Cabbage in a sorry state as it had been empty for a while I think, perhaps the person who took them has some when it was still a nice place.

Regards

Re: Missing birth registration

Hi Bert & Mary Received PDF today and it was the birth Bert found, if I could get my new computer to work like the old one did I would post it so you could see. The birth was not actually registered until 29th April which was after he was baptised!. Many thanks for your help.

Missing birth registration

When a baby is christened do you have to produce a birth certificate. I can't find a record of my Grandfather being registered although I know he was christened on 13th April 1884 and his date of birth was given as 21 March 1884. His brothers & sisters were all registered, so don't know why he was m...

Joseph Hart

Hi Everyone Joseph Hart was my Great Grandfather and was born in Wigan in 1852 I have worked that out from his death certificate in 1928 which gave his age as 76 years. In 1851 his parents Morris & Ann were living in Liverpool with their 2 sons called Michael Morris born 1848 in Wigan and Morris (sp...

Re: NHS Accessing medical records of somebody deceased

I would second the comment made by Mary about Roger Hull, he provided me with all the records about my Great Uncle who died in Rainhill and even a photograph within a couple of days of applying.

Ancestry Military Records

Re: A reminder - to say thank you at the very least

I'm really sorry that you are not answering emails anymore, a few years ago you answered my email and gave me so much information about my Great Uncle George Cousins that I would never have been able to find out myself, I thanked you then and I am still thanking you now.
