Re: Death
Hi, Regarding his wife re-marrying I do not think he was still alive, as they were Catholics and I remember my grandmother was always upset over loosing her only brother. Family folklore was that he died at sea. (But maybe that was just away from home in this country I do not know). The last concret...

Hi He was born in Liverpool in 1878. I have all the other information about him, but I cannot find his death, I have looked at the deaths abroad when I went to Kew and it is not there. He had a child Jane born January, 1904 and his wife Elizabeth re-married 28th March, 1907. I have found Crew list f...

I cannot find a death in the index's for the above in Liverpool. There is a couple that might link up with the time frame in other parts...

Re: Brennan Deaths
Thanks Mary A,
No that is not the John Brennan, but at least it tells me that the one in Standish Street is not mine, so it eliminates another on on the list.
So I am at least getting nearer.
Thank you for all your efforts.

Re: Brennan Deaths
Hi Mary A. Thank you for checking the death's, yes they were R.C. and their daughter was buried at Ford. She died age 26 in July 1888 and is buried in Ford but it is Sec. SV 2450 Public. I do not think her parent's Catherine and John would be in a private grave. I have the certificate for Athol St. ...

Re: Brennan Deaths
Hi,
I have just realized I said that the Brennan's were at Marlborough Street, until the 1891 Census, it should be the 1881 Census I checked the Poll Books and they were still at the same address until 1889/1890
Thank You.

Re: Mary Ann McMullen & Elizabeth Holland
Hi Katie, I just noticed the post regarding a Holland family in the States and thought this is familiar. The family tree is on the internet for William John Holland and Jane Grogan. They were a well known family who lived in the Scotland Road area of the city, and owned a pub by St. Anthony's. It is...

I am trying to find information regarding a John Mc Nally who married in 1911 at St. Anthony's Church. They had two children and that is all I can find. I presume he died in the first world war. I do not know if his wife Catherine died or married again. I do not have a copy of the marriage cert. so ...

Re: Lockwood family after 1891
Thank you Mary for the details of the marriage cert. I did take that off Ancestry. Victoria and Maureen must be in some way in the same family tree. In desperation I think I am going to get all the Sarah Connor's in the census and try to sort them out. I know there is two born within a year of each ...

Re: Lockwood family after 1891
Hi Maureen, It does not matter how long you are doing research you are still puzzled and it gets even worst. Mary Mc Kenna was John's daughter from his first marriage and married John Mc Kenna at St. Augustine's church 1869. John Connor died between 1861 and 1871. Also on Ann O Connor's marriage cer...
