Anfield Cemetery plots

is there anything out there database wise that allows the lookup of plots and lists the occupants for Anfield? Researching my wife's family I have stumbled across 3 persons in the same grave, one of which was new to us, purely by dredging through burial books. I'm sure I've seen something, but I may...

I was surprised to see this named on a 1950s map.

Do you have any more of that map? The rest of Prince Edwin Street would be very useful. I am looking for Albert Terrace.

Re: Electoral Register accuracy

Ah now you may have hit the nail on the head there!

Their son lived in the house until his death in 1994, so quite possibly he didn't register to vote. The Liverpool electoral registers on ancestry only run to 1970, so the son isn't on there at all.

Re: Electoral Register accuracy

It would mean a form was filled in on their behalf illegally each year after their demise. "At present, the register is compiled by sending an annual canvas form to every house (a process introduced by Representation of the People Act 1918). A fine of up to £1,000 (level 3 on the Standard scale) ca...

Walton Free Parochial Cemetery Rice Lane map?

I'm sure this has been covered before but is there yet a map of Walton Cemetery?

I am hoping to locate a grave labelled 44Y. A very long shot, I know.

Electoral Register accuracy

This may already be known to many but don't take electoral Registers as proof of someone being alive.

I had seen Electoral Registers quoted in the forum and today was looking at some on Ancestry.

In the Liverpool 1970 register I found a couple that died in 1945 and 1953 respectively. Be wary!

Earle Road L7

I have a death recorded at 141a Earle Road L7 in 1955. The address is taken from Allerton Cemetery burial register.

This is now the site of the Picton Medical Centre. Is anyone able to tell me what was at 141a before this?

thanks

Not sure if this helps or not but Bishops Transcripts are on family Search. First page of 1837 is headed to the effect Bishops Transcripts for Liverpool Parish Church St Peters.
