Can anybody tell me it the details recorded on death certificate are always correct. On my grandmother's (Winifred Snelham) death certificate it states that she died at 107 Rice Lane Liverpool on the 22 Feb. 1940 though her residential address is given at 39 Tollerton Road, West Derby. Sounds good must try to get there sometime when I'm in the UK or better still take a holiday in Ireland. Now I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the certificate which I've ordered, wonder if I'll find any juicy tit bits too.

So it seems that death certificates can reveal many things other than the cause of death. Incidentally my g.grandmother's father Francis Murphy is on the Liverpool census as being born in County Wexford.

After a long absence I have once again been bitten by the genealogy bug and I'm actively seeking information about my g.grandmother Louisa Kearns nee Murphy. Louisa is listed on the 1881 census for Liverpool as living with her husband William Kearns and four daughters at 6 Aintree Street, Liverpool....

Wonder if any member can help me to discover if the above died in an accident whilst working in the dockyard at Cammell Lairds. I'm not sure what year this was but I know he lived at 152 Athol St. Liverpool in 1901 but isn't on the 1911 census for Liverpool.
