Facebook Page - Ormskirk & the Great War

Post by Ken Lees »

Apologies for the shameless plug, but there is a new Facebook page for Ormskirk (including surrounding villages) and the part its residents played in the Great War.

Anyone with any information, family connections, photos etc. is encouraged to post.

Suggestions for improvement would be welcome, as would a 'like' or two for the page so that word of the page's existence will spread.

Fixed your link for you Ken.

We are interested in all areas of Lancashire of course so I suspect a number of our members will join yours, have you joined our group too? Click here :D

How many of the Ormskirk Boys School are you needing backgrounds for? do you want help, perhaps some of our crew would be interested in a bit of research.

Thanks Mary.

Can you let me in to the LSWLFHS page?

I will have a look at my notes for the Boys' School and let you know which ones I have information on. Of course, if anyone recognises a name on there I will be happy to share any information I have.

Of course I will but so far don't see your name down the list of requests to authorise.
