spitalfields,whitechapel,Liverpool
Has anyone come across Spitalfields which was demolished in 1868 so that Victoria Street could be built. In trying to trace a family member who was buried in St Johns Churchyard in the Old Haymarket it mentions she was living in Spitalfields cant work out if this was street, workhouse etc.
My liverpool FHs number 7857

What a coincidence, two enquiries about the same place and yet none previously - are you two connected?

I'm the other one who was enquiring about Spitalfields! Only just read this post.
I don't think we are working on the same family but just in case I was following up Maddox and Devlin who gave Spitalfields as their address when they married in 1845.

Glenys Webb
