200th Anniversary (NAYLOR)

Post by plimmerian »

burial on 25 Apr 1815 at St Thomas the Martyr, Up Holland, Lancashire of Margaret Naylor, 38 of Up Holland, the wife of James Naylor a weaver.

(lan-opc site has transcribed it as being buried on 28th)

speculate she is mother of Richard Naylor, tailor, who moved his family to Newton in Makerfield where he died in 1858 and had previously lived in Billinge (1851) and Liverpool (1841).

it is speculated she was Margaret Hampson who married James Naylor in 1797 at All Saints, Wigan.
