St. James Chapel

Post by Jinxieb »

I have the civil marriage record of William Snow and Mary Davis, married on 30 Jan 1871. They were married in West Derby, Toxteth Park by Thomas Kelly, at St. James Chapel, R.C. Would anyone know if the church records for St. James Chapel are available or if the church still exists?
Thanks :D

According an online index of RC marriages this church is St James, Bootle. Can you check the location on the record. If it is St James, Bootle here is some information:-

There was a Reverend Dean Thomas Kelly at the church that Blue has mentioned.

If it's St James RC Bootle I believe there is a filmed copy of the records held upstairs at Crosby Library in the reference department.
