Kirkdale Industrial School

Are there records available for Kirkdale industrial school? I found my Grandfather Thomas James Bedford living there at age 10. I was wondering if there are more detailed records obtainable.

There is information on these schools under Liverpool on the www.workhouses.org.uk website

Records are at Liverpool Record Office and Local History Service, Central Library, William Brown Street, Liverpool L3 8EW.

Kirkdale Industrial School— Admissions and discharges (1862-1965); Classification registers (1845-97); Creed register (1869-1904).
