Liverpool Workhouse

Hi all
been a long time since i logged onto this forum sorry, having Irish ancestors comming to liverpool has not helped finding who is who.
the Question is is the Liverpool Workhouse the same as Mount Pleasant Inf. as listed by another member.
My grandfather was born thier in 1891 on the birth certificate tells me no father listed his mother sarah ann ruddy was a Launderess no settled address

would I be able to find any more details in the records office

Yes the admission and discharge registers are on Microfilm at Liverpool under 353 SEL 19
Also check the admission registers ref 353 SEl 18 you may be able to get next of kin details.
