missing crewmen

Hello All
Just received register of accounts and effects of deceased seamen the year 1867.
The ship Flora Mc Ivor owners Hatton & Cookson, My ancestor Robert Joseph Pender,
lived 14 Luton street, He was 17 years of age he was supposed lost with 5 other crew
date 28th feb 1867 the ship wasent lost it was still around in 1868, 1870, Date of agreement 26th feb 1867 the ship had been at sea only two days. Would I be able to get a copy of crew list and agreements from the records office. thank you George

There are very few records held for Seamen at the Record Office, however a visit to the Maritime Museum - or even an initial enquiry, will tell you if there is anything held at Liverpool or whether at Kew, Portsmouth or even in Canada where many records have been taken to the repository there.

You've probably seen this or may have wrote it,

"Taken from register and accounts of wages and effects of Deceased Seamen etc. The ship Flora Mc Ivor, from Liverpool Robert Joseph Pender with six other crew members on the 28-2-1867, Supposed Lost.Robert was aged 17years".
