A quick search on FreeBMD http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl for a John Dunford marriage in the same year and quarter produced this..

Sorry, we found no matches in a search for Marriages:
Surname: Dunford
First name(s): John
Start date: Sep qtr 1837
End date: Sep qtr 1837
District: Liverpool (1837-1934)

Saves you buying the cert to find out if this Ann Campbell married John Dunford.

Bob, there's another 1837 Ann Campbell marriage you can cross off your list.

From Lancs BMD.... http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk/

Sep qtr 1837: CAMPBELL, Ann and CAMPBELL, Joseph - Liverpool, St. Philip's. [Liverpool - 20 - 220]
Dec qtr 1837: CAMPBELL, Ann and HANLON, John - Liverpool, Register Office or Registrar Attended. [Liverpool - 20 - 251]

As a point of interest it would appear that if there was such a Dunford/Campbell marriage it happened before civil registration began in the Sept qtr of 1837....

Again, from FreeBMD:
Sorry, we found no matches in a search for Marriages:
Surname: Dunford
First name(s): John
Spouse: Not named.
Start date: Sep 1837
End date: Dec 1850
Districts: Liverpool (1837-1934) and West Derby.

I believe this point was raised previously, possibly in another post - I believe Bob has not yet given evidence, by means of a birth certificate of one of the children, that the mother's name is actually Ann Campbell, he has previously stated that this information has come from submitted trees on other sites, has any evidence been brought forward yet to confirm this?

I may have missed it but despite a number of advisements to confirm entries from trees and trawling the web by purchasing the document concerned, a birth cert, I don't think this has been done.
