But when I look on google maps, and a map done Revised: 1938, Published: 1946 the street looks the same, and only goes to 21. The 1939 reg page I have, has 35 Ellison Street. The one i'm looking at is off Green Lane. What am I missing?
Thanks Bert, but I mean finding it on a map.
I like to have a map of where someone lived, and if possible a photo of the house, which is what I went on google to do, but the street only goes to 21, Thomas lived at 23.
So i'm wondering if there's 2 streets with the same name, and i've picked the wrong one, or it's a street that's changed it's name, or if i'm missing something.
I did find Thomas, funeral 10 Jan 1951, and Sarah Ann was his wife, father of Joe, John and Mag. Funeral left 19 Lutber St.
~Which cemetery for Thomas? she could be with him there.

The death notice didn't say where the funeral was gonna be. Most of these seem to have public graves, so are never together, but Sarah Ann's son is in Anfield, so i'll start there.
I'm going to get all the Sarah A's that died between 1911 - 1920 then tick them off one by one.
Yes a process of elimination is often the best idea.

A thought.....if Sarah Ann never actually married, then legally her name would still be Jackson. Would her death therefore have to be registered under the name Jackson?
OK I cheated, I ask Steve to check if Thomas was at Anfield, he is. Steve's going to PM me the details later, but he's in a public grave, so no Sarah Ann, but as her son James is there as well, i'm guessing she will be.
@Alison. Yeah that is something Phill (my mum's cousin) keeps bringing up. You can be "known as" without legally changing. On the plus side, I have her address, and a good idea where she is, so if names show nothing, then i'll go with addresses. If all that fails, i'll annoy Mary, I know she loves my querys at the help desk
