I don't live in your area. I cam accross this address on a Death notice in a newspaper for 1876.

Can anyone tell me where Alt Street is or was?

THERE IS AN ALT STREET IN TOXTETH

Alt Street is near to Kingsley Road in Toxteth it's top right on this map and there is a zoom out facility to view a bigger map:-

Don't mean to confuse but there is an Alt Road in Bootle.

Drew, you need to give us more details of the death and we can look in the records to give a location.
As already posted, the only Alt St in 1894 Directory was in Tockie Park, a long street which ran off Beaumont St.

As Windsor is in Toxteth Park, I think you had the correct road first off.

Jono is right Alt Street ran from Beaumont St To Tiber St. back Of St Bernards RC Church
