Helloooo
Im new to this forum so please be gentle with me
I am looking for the information on two marriages that took place at St Peter's church, Liverpool, I have most of the information from the LDS site but I need help to fill in some gaps so I need ALL the info on the entries - such as addresses and witnesses, father's occupations and whether the fathers are listed as deceased
Is there anyone on here who visits the records office regularly that could possible do a look up for me please ?
12th September 1864 Richard Wild(e) Married Mary Horsfall
5th December 1872 John Wilde married Sarah Ann Jackson,
All help gratefully appreciated
Cheers

Hi and welcome,
Have you tried a search for those marriages in the Ancestry Liverpool Parish Records collection? With luck you should find them and the entry will give you everything that is on the marriage certificate.
In general, with regard to look-ups, this might be of help to you..

Hi DS
Thanks for your reply
Yes, I have looked at the Marriages on Ancestry and the ones on the Lancs OPC site but neither have the details of the marriage for those particular years unfortunately,
Thanks for your advice, much appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forum. Sadly the entries for St Peter's are not complete on Ancestry, sometimes we are lucky but not always.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you about somebody visiting the Record Office although our forum members don't go as often as they used to, partly because more research is more available online than used to be, but also because of the renovations being done which are not yet finished.

Oh you are in luck! There is a poster on Rootschat who appears to be looking for the same marriage, she has suggested that she will pay the Record Office for looking it up for her - perhaps you can share in the results of her research.

Thanks for the advice Mary.
The person on Rootschat is me! Im trying every avenue before spending the pennies
I do have a lot of resources myself and volunteer for look-ups in Leicestershire and Derbyshire as I have purchased quite a few records on microfiche.
I suppose I was hoping that someone may have St Peter's on fiche
