I am searching for an inquest into the death of Louisa Jennings on 29/2/1876, inquest conducted by C Aspinall Coroner for Liverpool 2/3/1876

Thanks so much for finding this for me. I have Louisa's Death Certificate which gave me her cause of death but wanted to know more about her. She was my GG Grandmother and her maiden name, Greenfield, carried on as my Grandfather's middle name. It seems she suffered for many years, a very sad story.

I forgot to mention that the newspaper report helped with another question. George and Louisa marriage record shows Louisa's father Thomas as being a publican. The 1861 Census has Thomas Greenfield, a beer retailer, on Scotland Green, Tottenham also his wife, Maria. The newspaper report states that Louisa had gone to Tottenham just prior to her death - so that suggests that the Greenfield family may still have been resident there. A family story was that part of Dad's family was Scottish, something that he was very proud of - to date the only reference I've been able to find to Scotland is Scotland Green in Tottenham, I managed to find a picture of the pub, Victoria, on www.deadpubs.co.uk. I wonder if that will be the extent of my "Scottish" heritage

There's a good chance your Greenfields have Scottish roots I have a distant connection to a Christina Greenfield her father Alexander Greenfield was from Aberdeen, Scotland.

Thomas was a publican too in 1841 in Beaconsfield where Maria was from.
I'm guessing you already know all this. They have his age as 35 not 55. I wish I could do the same
Off topic, I did find a Thomas Greenfield aged 50 in 1838, got 3 weeks in the nick for larcency..
but that was in Sussex so not your man!!
Thos is 74 in 1861, widwr.
I'm wondering who Louisa could have stayed with close to her death?
One of her siblings? there's quite a few in familysearch, IGI.
