Help "Proving" who William Halsall's father was please

Hi everyone!
I wonder if anyone can help at all! My gt gt grandfather was a William Halsall born c1835 in Isle of Man - he married a Mary Ann Kelly born c1835 Isle of Man and on their marriage certificate he states his father is a Thomas Halsall occupation joiner.
But I just cannot find out how to "prove" that Thomas Halsall born 1796 in Malew Isle of Man is his father - Any ideas or suggestions would be so gratefully appreciated!
These are the siblings I have:
Thomas born c1822 Malew
Cathe born c1824 Malew
John born c1826 Malew
Richard born c1828 Malew
Esther born c1828 Malew - would love to know if they are twins! (I have boy and girl twins)
Jane born c1831 Malew
William born c1833 Malew
Isabella born c1835 Malew
Thank you
