Messrs Wright & Co, Liverpool

You recently gave me some very useful pointers to help my search for my great-grandfather, John Martin. Thank you.
I am now wanting to find out a little more about the company that my grandfather, David Martin (1878-1964) worked at from about 1891 until his second retirement in the 1950s (his official retirement in 1938 at the age of 60 was short-lived due to the war). My grandfather's employers, Messrs Wright & Co, were biscuit manufacturers in Liverpool. But I can find no trace of the company in Google. Whereabouts in Liverpool were they based? What kind of biscuits did they make - ship's, dog, human? And what happened to the company?
All help gratefully received!
