I have a Patrick Turkington/Torkington buried on June 12th 1825, age 24.
I also have a Patrick Turkington/Torkington buried 10th March 1844. They were both buried in St Johns grounds which is just by the library. This has now been turned into a Park and i wondered if there is any way i could find out if they were buried in the same grave, and also were they moved the bodies to.
I have just sent for the 1844 death certificate.
Also on Lan-OPC it gives a lot of info up to 1786 on burials then it jumps to 1843. The older Patrick is listed on this site but the dates for the younger one are not available.

The Record Office Catalogue http://archive.liverpool.gov.uk/CalmVie ... +JOH&pos=1 gives the description of St John's Old Haymarket, registers reference 283 JOH.

The collection comprises - Early registers, 1767 - 1812, Baptism registers, 1813 - 1898, Marriage registers, 1785 - 1898, Burial registers, 1813 - 1865, Banns registers, 1858 - 1866, Grave registers, 19th century.

A cross reference between the Burial Register and the Grave Registers will hopefully give you the result you need.

Thanks Mary. I have had a look at the site and the info is there but i think i have to go to the record office to access it. Is this right? Sorry but i am struggling with this one.

Yes it should be available at the Record Office, if I was you I'd send them an email to ensure the dates you are interested in are available on microfilm as if they advise they are in document form then you would need to make an appointment - 24 hours notice needed for this.

Unfortunately from the Burial Registers there is no Grave Number, wonder if there is in the Grave Register, which might not be easy to search without a cross reference.
