Mary Owens criminal register

Hello, I have Mary Owens tried at Liverpool sessions on 26 Oct 1846 and transported for 7 years.

There are only records at FMP on the criminal registers for an earlier offence (1827) none for the crime for which she was transported, I emailed FMP and they told me "this is all we have"

I only have a gold sub to TG which doesn't allow criminal look ups.

I have found newspaper clippings for both sentences.

Can anybody help with another resource?

Are you sure about the year? I can't see anything in 1846 but there's one who got 7 years transportation at Liverpool Sessions on 26 October 1835. Larceny from the person.

I am so sorry it is indeed 1835 she was convicted. Trying to do too many things at once here.

The criminal register is viewable on Ancestry but it doesn't reveal very much.

Do you have her Tasmanian convict records?

Yes that's her though she was convicted at Liverpool quarter sessions, not Lancaster.

I do have these Tasmanian records thank you as they are the first things I download.

I don't have a sub to Ancestry these days, can you at least please tell me what she was convicted for, it should be stealing a silver snuff box. Mary was from Llangollen originally.

The register just says "Larceny from the person".

The report of her sentence in Gore's Liverpool General Advertiser for 12 November 1835 says it was for stealing one silver snuff-box.
