I have come across this address in the 1861 census it says it's in the St Stephen the Martyr enumeration district but I'll be blowed if I can find it. All google searches come up with just Birkenhead and London.
Any ideas please? RG9/2732/~F67

St Stephen's church was on the east side of Byrom Street. The location was likely somewhere behind the Liverpool Record Office. It was probably a court but I can't find a detailed enough map of the area.

Very little known about it on Genuki
http://www.genuki.org.uk/cgi-bin/church ... AN,ID=2477 but any Parish Registers there may be will be at the Record Office.
If you choose Page 1 of the set if images you were looking at the census, then you will see the Enumerator's Walk listing all the streets nearby.

I did see a mention of Hamilton Terrace Edge Hill on Lancs OPC but ignored it as I wasn't aware that there were two St Stephen's. This court is below the M in ELM GROVE in this small 1890s map.

The church at Byrom Street was St Stephen's. the one at Grove Street or Crown Street was St Stephen the Martyr.
Same chap, different title!
