Hi, I've come across this, where there was also supposed to be a graveyard, but checking Mulberry Street in the 1900 maps I haven't come across it, nor does a google find it, only the one in Manchester.

Does anybody know of it please?

Liverpool Mercury, March 19, 1852.

"The general purposes sub-committee recommend that the crossings should not be constructed in Duke St, corner of the cemetery, Mulberry St"

Better known as St Mary's Cemetery Cambridge Street the old parish cemetery. It was landscaped and was a green space for many years:-

Apparently the bodies from the cemetery were reburied in Walton Parochial Cemetery at a later date.

I don't think I've come across that information before what's the source? St Mary's sometimes comes up in relation to the Famine as many Irish people were buried there in the 1840s. There is a plaque nearby commemorating those Famine related deaths. The other St Mary's Cemetery the one in Kirkdale was a private cemetery.

They are verifiable and as authentic as one could possibly hope for but we are still trying to locate the exact whereabouts etc.
