Thomas BELL, Watch Case Maker

Hi All,
I have a Liverpool stone wall which is bugging me as I know so much about the earliest in the line and an amazed I cannot find more about his ancestry. What am I missing? Can anyone help?
My ancestor is one Thomas BELL. He is listed as both "Silver Watch Case Maker" & "Joiner" - an unlikely combination. I have one of his watch cases. He was a Roman Catholic and had five children baptised as RC in Liverpool between 1819 and 1829. The first two were born before he married Margaret MORLEY (b 1785) at Liverpool in1825. Patric (sic) BELL and James BELL were presumably relatives as they stood as sponsors to various of Thomas' children when they were baptised
I have not identified his death nor that of his wife All the children disappeared except for his eldest, Ann, who married Paul Clague in 1847 and took in. She had a younger brother, Richard Edward BELL ( b 1828) with her in 1851. After that Richard Edward disappeared too. The others may have emigrated but Ann stayed in Liverpool and is my great great grandmother.
I can find nothing about Thomas BELL's ancestry. Can anyone give me a lead?
Thanks in advance
Tam
