Would welcome some guidance re filling in the blanks in the info I have for Mr Naden.

From freeBMD I think he married Elizabeth A Love in Q2 1921. Is there any way I can confirm this without getting a marriage cert? I cannot trace her death on freebmd; why might this be?. I know it is not the death of Elizabeth Naden on 11 Feb 29 as this is for the widow of George Naden, Leonard's father. The only birth entry which seems to fit for her is June 1887, the sole West Derby on the list

FreeBMD appears not to show any possible children. I would welcome ideas as to how best to find them (if any). Mrs N would be about 34 on marriage; he about 42.

I have found his WW1 enlistment and discharge record but I do not know why he was discharged.

Would welcome some ideas.

He was discharged due to sickness, it looks like he suffered from Myalgia, aggravated by service.

It's a pity a while ago Family Search had this marriage record image available to view free online. I downloaded my paternal grandfather's first marriage record he married at St Mary's Kirkdale in 1922. Family Search have withdrawn access to marriages for this church for 1912-1926 for some reason. It's always best to download these Family Search images as soon as you find them just in case they change the permission to access or they withdraw the download facility:-

I can follow mother Charlotte back in the Liverpool censuses to 1881 and then the Isle of Man census for 1871 finally confirming that Elizabeth's father was John, unfortunately his birth only says "England".

Wasn't able to find an Elizabeth Ann Love in the births, but if we accept that I have the correct family, I believe this would be the entry for Frances Isabella Redmond

John & Charlotte had a child born 1871, Hannah, perhaps named after mothers maiden name.

Mary - I posted a note of thanks for everyone's efforts but it does not seem to have got to this page. Where might it have gone. I have found in the past that this forum works perfectly.

In the note I referred to your interest in Ennis. Does Margaret Ellen Ennis ring any bells?

I also asked if members could give me a road for St Mary Kirkdale as it must have been there when we left Everton in 1967.
