I've tried 3 times to send Mary a PM and 3 times the message has been wiped nearing conclusion.
Ottowell Hugh Claude Bradley = James Bradley, 1911 Census.
Searching for Ottowell, Ancestry hints towards, James Bradley, LKR, 30223, KIA 1916, Soldiers Effects, Margaret Alexander.
More needed on the soldier.
Laura Bradley married John Kilcourse, West Derby 1918, Reg Office or Reg Attended.
She was Ottowell's widow.
Further proof of marriage,
Electoral roll, Trouville Rd, 1929/30
John Kilcourse, Laura Kilcourse, Waldron Bradley (Ottowell's son)

Apparently there's an obit for him in a local paper, not sure under what name.

I'm sorry but there appear to have been gremlins in the internet over the past 24 hours, not just this website but all over the world but it has caused us our own problems as nothing has been working as it should - caused the webmistress and myself some worries yesterday evening, but we are hoping that matters are now on the mend.
I will pass on your message.

The National Archives has WW1 medal cards for an Ottowell Bradley for the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders and the Highland Light Infantry:
http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.u ... r/D1447392.
So it would appear he was James in the 1911 census in Liverpool, then joined the army in Scotland under the name Ottowell, then joined the army back in Liverpool under the name James again!
