Amnesia personified

Post by Philip Roberts »

I do apologise for taking space but I am (as usual) rather confused.

I recently read a message from someone on one of your different topics and I would like to try and trace the originator of the message.

The message contained a reference to Webster Street, in Liverpool. It did not dawn on me at the time but my mother, Violet Grosart was born at 51 Webster Street in 1904. I think the person who had sent their message made reference to number 47 Webster Street. I am just curious to know if anyone in that persons inquiries may know of any neighbourly knowledge about my mam.

I have spent quite some time trying to find that message - but - what's new!

Thank you for the very quick response. You are probably correct about the message. The reference I made turns out to be the age of the person inquired about not the number of the house in Webster Street - "Stupid Boy".

Thank you anyway
