An Irish certificate question

I tried to follow the link given by DS to the GRO in Ireland but can't seem to find what I want. It's probably me being thick! I want to order a copy of a marriage certificate from 1878. I've found the record on Anc*** but how do I actually order it? I'm sitting here with my credit card clutched in my little hot hand and can't use it.
Thanks in advance
Barbara

Then one of the links at the bottom has "Apply for a Certificate"
http://www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm
This page has information for downloading an order form or for ordering online.

That's as far as I got, Mary. I could only apply for a marriage certificate as far back as 1934. I must be doing something wrong somewhere!

Irish Certificates..

Hi Barbara,
The problem is that the Irish GRO cannot, as yet, accept payments by credit card so you are not able to input the cert details online and pay there and then. If you are in a desperate hurry the HSE.ie [Irish Health Service Executive] offer a pay online credit card service for certs but their fees are extortionate!
You should download the cert application form from the GRO and print it off. Complete the form details, which includes your Credit Card details, and then either post or fax the form back to them. If you have a reasonably 'modern' scanner you should be able to fax the form from your PC. You should have the cert in about a week.
Make sure you ask for the photocopy version. It has no legal standing but is an exact copy of the official certified cert and only costs 6 Euro.

Thank you DS.
I'm not in that much of a hurry - they've been married since 1878 so another week or two won't hurt!
I'll download and send off.
Cheers
