The Italian Families in Liverpool 1900's

Post by tonybrio »

Has anyone information on The Italian Imigrants in Liverpool? Namely, Innelli, Volante and Simione families? I have the BMD's etc and cencus records but not where they came from in Italy. Naples, Caserta Lake, Como Area, Piscini? Believe an earthquake happened there . Have a pal whose "Ninny" Innelli, now age 95, have a fair amount of info but all records on census just say Italy, resident of Italy. Any family info would be appreciated of their origins as I may be able to search Italian Records. I had so much help on this site a few years ago for my family, Cheshire and Irish origins. Its nice to find you again. Tony Brereton

Hi Tony,
The surnames you are looking for are probably Iannelli, Volante (could also be Valente). All these surnames are found in Picinisco and Villa Latina. (now Frosinone previously Caserta).
You didn't provide names or birth years so I can't help you more than this.
