Does anyone know if and where their archives are stored?

I'm afraid I don't know if, but if they do then then they may have been deposited at the Liverpool Record Office. There is a link to search their catalogue on this page. https://liverpool.gov.uk/libraries/arch ... y-history/

You could also try the Maritime Archives at the Albert Dock.
