I could do with a favour if possible, but don't know what the protocol is for asking

Is this something I could ask for on here?
Many thanks,
John
Hi Mary, I wanted to ask before offending peopleMaryA wrote:We would need details?
Thanks Hilary, I didn't realise that Crosby had free access, I thought for some reason it was only Liverpool. I've been upstairs in Crosby a fair few times doing some research on the church baptism records in the locked cabinet.Education Officer wrote:For future reference you can use the Ancestry Library Edition which covers the world for free at Crosby library. You can also access for free in the library on your one laptop or tablet.
There's a Family History help desk at the Crosby library upstairs on the 1st and 3 rd Fridays of the month run by our society. You're very welcome to pop in and ask us questions on those Fridays 10 -12 .
Great, worth knowing. Many thanks.MaryA wrote:I believe free access to Ancestry should be available in the majority of libraries in England, Findmypast not in all but worth asking.
