Hi Mary when we went to the Normandy Beaches last May we met an old soldier age 92 who Landed on Gold Beach in a tank as a member of the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards he gave a talk to a group of Motor homers at the Chateaux we were staying at we were lucky to be able to hear him he spoke in a very mater of fact way as if it was nothing .He said he felt very lucky to have survived it he wrote a book of his experiences if you give me your address I will send it to you to review and I would suggest a £5 donation to the Liverpool funds if that is acceptable I will write to Cecil Newton to clear it

Re: Book
Hi George, As you have already read the book I would be happier for you to review the book and post on the appropriate board, and also it would be nice if you would forward your review to the Journal for Mike to enter it in the next edition.
