You and I seem to be quite connected geographically, I lived just on the other side of the park.

Re: JOHN KELLY 1888 - KIRDALE

Hi Mary

Born just off Islington in town, and then moved to Kirkdale, just by Bankhall station, when I was 7, and from 11 went to St John's school, my friends all lived in that area on and around Easby Road, Lambeth Road, Fountains Road and Orwell Road.

In my previous job, worked around most areas of Liverpool, mostly, Kirkdale, Vauxhall, City Centre.

Lived in Alfonso Road till I was 3 then moved to Kirkby until I married and then returned to Alfonso Road for about ten years. My eldest son went to St John's, both were baptised there (so was I), and then returned to Kirkby. It's a small world.
