We were really keen to see these films both of Liverpool and Preston. Unfortunately if you're outside the British Isles you can't view them. I can understand not being able to view current programmes on line but not film from 1901! What a disappointment for all overseas members.

What a shame Barbara, somebody on Facebook mentioned about certain films not being available, but I'd hoped these were. Have you tried contacting the British Film Institute to ask why.

I think it's something to do with copyright or performance fees but I can't see how that can apply in this case. I'll try and contact them and see what they say.
The same applies to watching TV programmed on computer but not listening to the radio! Wonder who makes up the rules?
