I hope that they do keep a credits option. I've used Scotlands People quite a few times but couldn't justify paying a subscription as not many of mine appear in their records.

I agree. I have found loads of gaps, but give them their due they will check for you, even if the get back to say that they have not got this person's death after 1855 :(

Yes they are quite good like that, I have an unfound and have tried other sites too with parishes that Scotlandspeople don't have, most of the Scottish sites seem to be helpful.

I think those with a Scottish ancestry will find it useful if they do a subs.
