Hi Gareth and welcome to the forum and also the Society!

I hope you enjoyed WDYTYA, we had a few ladies at the table this year so I'm not sure quite which ones you met but I would suspect one of them might have been our forum's very own Katie who is quite a specialist with soldiers.

If you have any queries, just post away and we'll try our best to help and also look forward to seeing you at any meetings you can manage to get to.

Hi Gareth and welcome to our Society, I am Kathy alias Katie and it was lovely to meet you and your other half at WDYTYA 2017 (did you pick the right horse) This coming weekend the Big History Show is at St. Georges Hall 29th/30th April it opens at 10.am. Bring the kids (they get in free) If you have any brick walls there are many knowledgeable members on here who will help in finding the answers. It was lovely to meet such an enthusiastic couple and LFC supporters as well (sorry blues) in Birmingham.

Hi, I have Sephton family in my tree. Margaret Sephton born about 1726 married William Bradshaw 25 May 1751 at St Mary's Highfield St (RC). Liverpool. She died c 1824 , a widow. At Alms Houses Liverpool. I have no other info about her.

I will do more chasing,

There is another branch of my family , which also has a Margaret Sephton, b 1786 in Sephton and married Lawrence Banks 1827. and died 1864 in Sephton. I really do need to do more work on this. Hope it may help you
