Hi All
Can anyone suggest any sites where I could find info about soldiers who were in Archangel in WW11.
Thanks, regards

Re: Archangel
I googled and found a couple of interesting pages
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arctic_con ... rld_War_II
and some first hand memories
http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/ww2peoples ... 1446.shtml
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-14723483
Are these of any help?

Re: Archangel
Hi Mary & Bert
Thanks for the info, I work in a library and I have been asked to help a borrower whose Dad was in the army in WW11 in Archangel. I will have a look at the sites you have given when he comes in tomorrow and hopefully I can find some info for him. Thanks again.
