George
Some of the King's Regiment Territorial battalion war diaries are at the Merseyside Maritime Museum library at Albert Dock. Their online catalogue might help. Beware of the limited opening times!
If that is no help, try the Great War Forum.

George this information was supplied by me from my Wounded Rank and file index. This information was obtained from the Liverpool Courier, not The Times Gazette. There is a separate post giving you information on how to gain the information on where the 9th where.

Did you consult the 9th KLR Battalion Diary ? That seems to be the piece of information that you never gave any feedback about on the old post.

I don't think we yet know if there is going to be a Military Day at the Museum this year but these diaries are often available to check there.

It's not the Albert Dock that I mean, the last two years there has been a Military Day at the Waterfront Museum where some of the military researchers attend to give their help. One of these men has some War Diaries he takes along to help with look ups.

If we hear that there is to be another Military Day this year we will be promoting it on here as well as on the Facebook Group, we just haven't any details as yet.
