I have a report in the Daily Post of the above being Killed in action.
11th-Sept-1916
Private Joseph Fitzpatrick of the Royal Marine Light Infantry, whose parents reside at 13, Naples Road, Seacombe, was killed on August 23rd. He had been through the Dardenelles campaign. I cannot locate a death of a Joseph Fitxpatrick on CWGC. The only soldier whose date of death is recorded as 23rd-Aug-1916 is the Following casualty. I cannot rule him out as his name is Joseph Jones.
JONES, JOSEPH
Rank:PrivateService No:PLY/794(S.)Date of Death:23/08/1916Regiment/Service:Royal Marine Light Infantry 2nd R.M. Bn. R.N. Div. Grave Reference: I. C. 29. Cemetery:BARLIN COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION
I think this is him on the 1911 census at 26, Naples Road, Seacombe

Tried looking for service records for a Joseph Fitzpatrick.
Any help would be very welcome.
