Re: Sergeant Edwin Harold Gouldstone possible?
Definitely in the right place. Baptism took place at Christ Church, Kensington on 23 March (born 8 February) 1891, Edwin Harold Gouldstone, parents Edwin Thomas and Annette Adelaide of 66 Coleridge Street, occupation Bookkeeper.
In 1911 they were living at 45 Nuttall Street, Edge Hill, Edwin Thomas Gouldstone 41 A Chief Clerk with the L'pool Whsg Co Ltd., born Bristol Gloucester and wife Amelle Adeline 41, married for 21 years and have four children surviving out of five, Edwin Harold 20, Clerk, Arthur James 18 Clerk, William Ernest 15 Clerk, and Annelle May Gouldstone 13, all others born Liverpool.
For the sake of accuracy of his mother's name I have checked the entry for their marriage at Emmanuel, Everton on 30 March 1890 where I believe she signs Annette Adeline Slimond.
