I have been going through the admission Register for Clint Road Council School and I have come across the following

William Henry Willis born 22nd October 1889 son of Thomas Willis, of 176, Wavertree Road. His brother John E Willis went to the same school.

I've found the following baptisms, some of which are at St. Cyprians. Slightly confused by the two children called William with, apparently, the same parents though, especially as it's the William Thomas Willis that is born on the same day as the William Henry you found in the school records!

Some of the dates don't add up either!

Baptisms:

Looks like his first wife has died as his wife is called Susan Willis on the 1901 census. Married Susan Fenton in 1901. She is a sick nurse in Formby in 1911. I cannot locate the Willis family in 1911.

Beat me to it - just found them on 1911 too. Still perplexed by the two Williams and the two children born within a day of each other and baptised at different churches! Off to look for birth records!
