RIP Peter Jones
RIP Peter Jones
I am very sorry to break the sad news that our friend, Peter Jones, who used to be the Editor of the Journal, has passed away.
He did a lot for our group as he also used to handle the Unwanted Certificates list.
The condolences of all of our Members will be sent to his family.

Re: RIP Peter Jones
R.I.P. Peter and condolences to his family. He helped me with my Irish research many years ago and was an excellent Editor of the journal.

Re: RIP Peter Jones
Sometimes you don't need to know someone long to know that they're a good soul. Thanks to his support I have taken on the editor role with confidence. Thanks to his friendship I have learned a lot quickly. He will be greatly missed by me and everyone who knew him. R.I.P. Peter - God bless.

Re: RIP Peter Jones
That is sad news indeed about Peter. I met him a couple of times before he moved away from Allerton and spoke on other occasions, and found him most helpful and friendly. His editing of the Journal was very good for the Society and always provided a good read.
He will be much missed and I add my sympathy for his family and friends.
