Hi Ron and welcome,
Are you sure Daisy was living in Liverpool when she died and that the year was 1952?
Death: ROBERTS, Daisy M
Registration district: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Year of registration: 1954; Quarter of registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Age at death: 36
Volume no: 9A; Page no: 134
After her father had died in WW1 did Daisy's mother Elizabeth(?) remarry?

Re: I am looking for information on my Auntie May Fitzpatric
I found a 2012 post on another site by someone looking for the same person. They were suggesting that Daisy May never married Mr Roberts and that she had 2 daughters who were of school age by mid 50s. The post also said she died around start of the 1960s.
I found the post by googling Daisy May Fitzpatrick.

"Dear Listers,
I am looking for the details of a Peter Roberts and Partner Daisy May Fitzpatrick both lived together in the Dingle area in the early 1950's.
I know Daisy May has departed. I am now interested in the rest of the family as Daisy May was my Father's twin Sister, and I know nothing about their family. They may of been in a de Facto relationship.
Anything would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Re: I am looking for information on my Auntie May Fitzpatric
From the information that Hilary found you need to confirm if any of these children were born to Peter and Daisy May Roberts.
Births Mar 1946: Roberts, Patricia [Fitzpatrick] Liverpool S. 10d See S'60
Births Mar 1947: Roberts, Denise [Fitzpatrick] Liverpool N. 10d 613
Births Jun 1948: Roberts, Elizabeth [Fitzpatrick] Liverpool S. 10d 938
Births Jun 1949: Roberts, Marie [Fitzpatrick] Liverpool N. 10d 497
The "See S'60' notation on the birth entry in the GRO Index instead of a Page number means that the 1946 birth was not actually registered until the September quarter of 1960....
Births Sep 1960: ROBERTS, Patricia [FITZPATRICK] Liverpool S. 10d 934
The 1946 entry is a handwritten addition at the end of the names column of the March quarter Index.
Establishing parentage can only be done by purchasing the birth certs from the General Registry Office online at... http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certi ... efault.asp
Each cert will cost £9.25 and you must specify the parents' names in the application. If an entry has the wrong parents the GRO will refund the fee in full.

That post was Mine, it was roumered that they where In a defacto relationship and some of the Family ostrisied her except my Dad, Mum and Auntie Mavis.
Since then I have found another roumer that Daisy May died the same day a one of her brothers 4 Hours apart on either side of Liverpool, the only one dieing around that era was her oldest Brother Arthur William 2nd Oct 1959.

It would be helpful if you cross referenced posts on other forums to this one as it saves duplication of research and any new information would be available.

Re: I am looking for information on my Auntie May Fitzpatric
Who is Auntie Mavis? Can her family not help?
Presumably you have a last known address for Daisy May so I think you need to follow up that address in both directories and electoral rolls to see when she leaves the address.

Re: I am looking for information on my Auntie May Fitzpatric
Hello Ron,
While rumours and family stories can have some basis in fact, more often than not they have been distorted by successive 'tellers', as in Chinese Whispers. A famous one from WW1 is the verbal message alleged to have been sent from the Front to Allied HQ... "Send three and fourpence. We are going to a dance"! Said to have started out as "Send reinforcements. We are going to advance"!
As far as I can see there is only one provable fact in the search so far, Daisy's date of birth. We don't know when or where she died or what name her death was registered under, Roberts or Fitzpatrick, Daisy May or May. And whoever registered her death may not have known her correct year of birth so that could be out by several years.
If it is believed she had children by Peter Roberts you need to find those children. Of the four girls born before 1950 there are only two with forenames to make searches for a marriage a little easier, Denise and Marie. You would also have addresses from the birth certs and an indication of what forename Daisy was using then.
In an earlier post I suggested getting birth certs for four girls born Roberts nee Fitzpatrick. A route you could try is to submit an application for a Roberts birth in 1947 in Liverpool District but tick the NO box where you are asked if the Volume and Page references are known. Do not enter a forename for the child but do enter the parents' names you are reasonably sure of... Peter Roberts and Fitzpatrick. Don't enter any forename for Daisy. The GRO will search one year either side of 1947 which will cover 3 of the possible births. If they find more than one match they will tell you and ask for your instructions.

Re: I am looking for information on my Auntie May Fitzpatric
Not quite clutching at straws.... but it might be worthwhile checking out this death:
Death: ROBERTS, Peter
Registration district: Liverpool North, Lancashire
Year of registration: 1955; Quarter of registration: Apr-May-Jun
Age at death: 38
Volume no: 10D; Page no: 224
Because Daisy's possible children were registered with Fitzpatrick as the maiden name it would appear that Peter Roberts was already married, hence no Roberts/Fitzpatrick marriage. The above deceased is about the right age for a 'liaison' with Daisy May. If this is her 'partner' his death would have had serious repercussions for her, having a couple [or more] young children. She may well have married in the following years as a Roberts. The name and relationship of the informant on the death cert could tell you if he is the man.

Well spotted association between those two deaths Alison. She is one of two possibles I had found earlier and her age at death, 47, makes her born in the right year, 1917.Alison C wrote: Deaths Sep 1964
