Irish/Australian WWI searchable database launched

Post by dickiesam »

This on our Irish news this morning...

From: http://www.rte.ie/news/2014/1017/652946 ... -database/
A database of Irish-born people who served with the Australian forces in the First World War has been launched today. The database is publicly available and will allow Irish and Australian people to trace the records of their relatives who served in the war.

The project was compiled by the Australian University of New South Wales in partnership with University College Dublin.

That will be very useful, thanks. I've added the link to the list of Irish resources.
