Sergeant John Locke ??

Hi all, bit of a mystery man here that I'm hoping you can help me identify, the pictures are of a grave marker in Allerton Cemetery, the inscription reads "In memory of John, the dearly loved husband of Lily McGlenahan (Sergt 4th "Pals") who died Feb 16th 1919, aged 27 years. "His duty nobly done."
The bottom of the headstone says "Locke"

So, John Locke, a sergeant, I assumed 20th Bn KLR but it could be another pals regiment. Date of death within CWGC range but he's not in the database as far as I can see, neither can I find a medal card etc.

Also, Allerton Cemetery records (as online) don't have a John Locke

I guess it needed fresh eyes to spot my mistakes (assuming his name was Locke and misreading McClenahan as McGlenahan)

maybe it's time for me to take a break from the keyboard!

As the medal card, roll and soldier's effects all show he was a Sergeant, and the headstone says Sergeant, I'll get in touch with the CWGC and ask them to change his rank on their database, which has him as a private.

Interesting that the soldiers' effects notes he died of influenza 'on demobilization furlough' - I haven't come across that level of detail in this source before.
