If that doesnt scare you off from using it and revealing your entire family history to them then I suppose nothing ever will.
Fortunately I had a serious software glitch when I used them initially and had only managed to build a 'tree' of 4 or 5 people before deleting it from my PC. Unfortunately I didn't then know as much as I do now and made a very basic mistake in its construction which I now cannot rectify unless I pay them, and for which I apparently have to endure a lifelong stream of e-mail "matches" that, if it were not so seriously incestuous in its telling would be hysterical ?
In this case "You pays no money and makes your choice" (but it seems you WILL pay later SOMEHOW?)

It certainly seems to have it's fair share of complaints, rather more excessive than even Genesreunited used to have.
To add to this, I am a user of Family Historian software and this now gives hints to online matches - to this very site. Noticing a couple of numbers against my father's name when I clicked on it, one led to the death indexes of course, but the other led to a family page that included my mother, myself and my brother!
To be fair to My Heritage when I contacted them about these entries they were fairly quick to have them removed as I didn't have a membership to contact the owner of the tree.
